Procon Recife has many actions during Carnival, in order to prevent revelers from paying more than the usual as well as inform them about their rights, such as minimum consumption tariff, tariff for reservations or rent of tables and chairs. To avoid losses, PROCON Recife will inspect establishments located near Marco Zero, Arsenal Square and Bom Jesus Street.
PROCON also has a space at the Carnival Centre located on Observatório Street to receive complaints and inform consumers. It will operate from February 28th to March 5th, from 4pm to midnight. During the week before Carnival and during the party, PROCON will also distribute leaflets with tips and information to consumers.
PROCON also alerts that for any later complaint, consumers must present a document that proves the product or service purchase. You must always require a receipt.
Complaints can be made by phone 0800 28 11 311 or at PROCON, on 156 Carlos Porto Carreiro Street, Derby, Recife/PE, from Monday to Friday, from 8am to 1pm. There will also be PROCON spots at Compaz Governador Eduardo Campos and Compaz Escritor Ariano Suassuna. During Carnival, complaints can be made at the Carnival Center.
